IPSSC: Integration of structured expert knowledge
نویسندگان
چکیده
This paper presents an effective implementation of data preprocessing methodology and data mining referring to integrate decision rules as part of manually written expert system (expert knowledge) with models inducted from data. The methods we have used are standard methods for data pre-processing, including techniques for handling missing data, feature construction, transformation and aggregation, and J48 machine learning algorithm, implemented in WEKA data mining tool set for the process of integration of the manually created expert rules given in decision tables.

Factors affecting the acquisition of expert tacit knowledge Case study: Delivery time in twin pregnancy
This paper discovers the necessary variables need for creating models for tacit knowledge acquisition, especially in medical care services. The case studied here, was knowledge of diagnosing and time of delivery in twin pregnancy with nuchal translucency screening. This paper covers the empirical work undertaken on semi-structured interview based on thematic analysis. With regard of theoretical...
متن کاملPALADIN: A Pattern-based Approach to Large-scale Dynamic Information Integration
The nascent data grid technology aims to make access to globally distributed structured and semi-structured databases possible. However, only integrated, transparent access to such data sources, abstracting not only from distribution and implementation details, but also from the diverse forms of heterogeneity, allows maximum leverage for the envisioned dynamic forms of inter-organisational coop...
متن کاملDevelopment and Integration of Expert Systems Based on Service-Oriented Architecture
Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is one of the technologies under extensive discussion in recent years, and most noteworthy of all are Web Services. Web Services utilize core technologies, such as Extensible Markup Language (XML), Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Description Language (WSDL) and Universal Description, Discovery, and Integration (UDDI), to construct an easy c...
متن کامل3 Reusable Components for Knowledge Base and Database Integration 13.1 Middleware for Information Integration
Organisations increasingly need to integrate their database and knowledge-based systems into an enterprise-wide information system. This need applies to both new and legacy database and knowledge-based systems. This paper argues that modern mid-dleware technology, notably Java and CORBA, provides an eeective integration medium, particularly when combined with software agent technology. Deening ...
متن کاملIntegrating Knowledge Process and System Design for Naval Battle Groups
INTRODUCTION Interest in and attention to knowledge management have exploded recently. But integration of knowledge process design with information system design has long been missing from the corresponding literature and practice. The research described in this paper builds upon recent work focused on knowledge management and system design from three integrated perspectives: 1) reengineering p...
